The Fountain Hills Sanitary District bills residents/owners within the District boundaries for fees as established by the Board of Directors within the guidelines of the Arizona State Statutes, Title 48. The fees we bill are:
Sewer User Fees
Sewer User Fees are billed quarterly (every three months) to all residential and commercial units. Residential units are billed a flat rate per unit. Commercial units are billed based on a formula. Please see the fee schedule for specific rates details.
Availability Fees
Availability Fees are billed annually, every January. An availability fee is a charge levied against all property in the district which is not connected to the sewer system but which lies adjacent to a sewer line for the benefit to that particular parcel of property of having the sewer line and capacity in the treatment works and effluent disposal facilities to accommodate the development of the property.
