The Fountain Hills Sanitary District Wastewater Treatment Plant is located adjacent to the administration building on Pepperwood Circle. The plant provides tertiary treatment of the incoming wastewater. Its finished product (effluent or reclaimed water) exceeds all Arizona Department of Environmental Quality standards for reuse.
