Fat, Oil and Grease (F.O.G.)

The District inspects sand and grease traps and interceptors installed in commercial facilities when a food service operation or other facility requiring one is built, improved, or remodeled. Periodic inspections are also done to determine if the commercial facility is meeting the District requirements for fat, oil, and grease released into the District sewer system. Regular grease pumping by a certified professional is required. Please read the information provided below to ensure your facility is in compliance.
